How to Choose freewheel or Cassette: 1. Count how many teeth the smallest piece of the freewheel/cassette is, and the cassette is generally 11 or 12 teeth; 2. Remove the freewheel/cassette, if there is column foot on hub, it will be cassette, and if there is no column foot and it has screw thread inside, it will be freewheel.
